Mr. Faysal El-Khalil graduated from The American University of Beirut in 1969 with a degree in Political Studies and then joined the family trucking business in Nigeria. After selling that business in 1975, he moved to Seven-Up Bottling Company PLC.

BIO
The Company operated one plant in 1975 and has now grown to nine plants and 60 depots under Faysal’s leadership. He became the Managing Director of SBC Nigeria in 1978 and served in that position until 2005. He is presently the Chairman of SBC Nigeria, SBC Tanzania which was acquired in 2001 and SBC Ghana which was acquired early 2008. He is also Chairman of the recently set up SBC Kenya.
Faysal attended several Management Executive Programs at Harvard University. He has been decorated by the Nigerian Government with the distinguished “Officer of The Order of The Niger” and serves on the Board of MAK Holdings S.A.L. He is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Continental Beverages S.A.L.
