Sari El-Khalil is a business leader and an entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience in finance and as an entrepreneur in Africa, The Middle East, and The United States of America. He is the Chief Transformation Officer of Seven-Up Bottling Company and co-founder of W Motors.
Mr. Faysal El-Khalil graduated from The American University of Beirut in 1969 with a degree in Political Studies and then joined the family trucking business in Nigeria. After selling that business in 1975, he moved to Seven-Up Bottling Company PLC.
BIO
Sari obtained his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in 2009 and his MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business in 2016. In his previous roles, Sari worked at PepsiCo, occupying roles in Finance and Transformation between Dallas and New York. During that time, he was responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to drive transformational change across PepsiCo that delivered sustainable growth and shareholder value.
Sari led the go-to-market transformation pilot across PepsiCo Beverages North America using add-on technology to generate cooler shelf-level insights. The pilot aimed to improve asset management from geo-location services, optimize SKU assortment based on demand, reduce stocks through real-time shelf-level alerts and optimize assortment based on SKU productivity.
Sari returned to the family business in 2020 in the role of Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, where he provided analytical and planning support to the company to help in the diagnosis and resolution of key issues, improve the understanding of regional economics, and facilitated the development of short-term and long-term performance targets.
Sari currently holds the role of Chief Transformation Officer, where he is embarking on a wholistic end-to-end transformation across the company’s value chain.
Having an entrepreneurial side, Sari co-founded a company called W Motors in 2012. W Motors is a car company founded in Lebanon, the first developer of high-performance luxury sports cars in the Middle East. Based in Dubai, the company’s activities include automotive design, research and development, vehicle engineering and manufacture.
