Tom Stephenson

BIO

A global business leader with 15+ years of C-level experience. Prior to GZI, Tom spent four years as CEO of DAL Group; a US$1.2 billion, North African regional Agri-food conglomerate and Coca Cola bottler. Immediately prior to this he was Group Director of Revenue Management at Avis Europe plc, a turnaround, where he lead the transformation of the Group’s Revenue management practices, impacting the core operations of over 3000 rental stations across Europe. His early career included six years with Barclays Bank in London and New York; 4 years with GE Capital; and 4 years as a founder of a successful PE backed leasing business.

He was born in Africa, raised in Asia and has worked across Europe, USA, Africa and the Middle-East. He has a degree in Economics and International Relations, an MBA from INSEAD, and has INSEAD certification in Corporate Governance.
